Negative Name Associations...
So, I don't think that I'm the only one (atleast I hope not) but are there some names that you just can't stand no matter how nice they are because you know people with those names that you can't stand???? I have a few

Absolutely! Especially working in a school.. I associate many names with different children, so there are a ton that have been crossed off my list because of that! And not because I don't necessarily like the child or the name, it's just that I don't want to use a name that I already associate with someone else.. KWIM?

Completely! DH is one of 8 kids, and his oldest sister is 19 yrs older than him...sooooooo he has tons of nieces and nephews already, and I feel like so many names are already used!!

Same here. Someone once told us that teachers have a hard time finding names for their child... and DH and I are both in education. There are a few names I used to like but now I don't - because a student with the name made me crazy!

I could have written this word for word. I have also crossed off some names based on teacher's I worked with.

Yes! I used to love the name Kayla until I had one in my pre-school class. She was a complete nightmare and now that name sends shivers down my spine.
