Happy Valentines Day to Me and DH-non TTC related
We just found out that DH's employee (DH owns a computer consulting company) has been stealing clients and funds from the company. We were tipped off by 3 clients who called and wondered why this guy was asking that all checks be made out to him and that we don't pay him (a complete lie of course).
To make matters worse, this was a son of MIL's best friend who we thought we could trust. DH also paid him far more than what others would have paid him in the same field. We thought he was a nice trustworthy kid (he is my age and just graduated with a degree in meteorology and we were trying to help him out).
Shows what you get for being nice. He is playing all coy with us. Thankfully my ILs took our side for once. We are so disgusted-can no one be trusted?
I swear, it is one thing after another. This completely ruined our Valentines Day. 
I guess this is what we get for being honest and nice and trying to be friendly and help. He basically took close to 1K from us. 
Thanks for letting me vent.

my father's mantra in life is "no good deed goes unpunished."
sad but true.
MY father was also self employed for many years before i was born and for a few years after i came. His parterns were embezzling $ from him, and he had a shady accountant. so he got royally screwed.
Its so sad that you and your DH have to deal with this. I hope the damage isnt too bad and thank god your DH's customers were honest to tell your DH.
