i was in your position this past september i thought there was no way she or I would survive it. and i won't lie, the first month was horrible for both of us. at 15 months she had to get used to being taken care of by someone else other than me, and i had to carve my niche as a working mom-AND get over missing her and the guilt, etc. now, it is a whole different story. things are better than i would have imagined. i won't go on and on about how well we have adjusted and what an amazing thing daycare has been for my DD and why, b/c i know you are hurting and don't want to hear a long story. BUT i will tell you to give it a try and try to be patient. you will be strong enough especially if this is something that you have to do. you are doing it for your family. also, i am a school librarian and i think being a teacher is the best job you can have if you're a mom! the hours and the vacations can't be beat, and if you don't have a long commute it's even better. good luck!! take your time with it! it is going to be alright!
p.s. summer is not too far away!!
Reading this gives me hope!

I know it's hard. Lot's of us have been thru it. DD will be fine after she adjusts. All you can do is spend every free moment you have with her and make them count. It will get better I promise.
