In-Law Vent...I am about to loose my mind!
So, I have been very open to them seeing them almost any time that they want! Afterall, they are their grandparents.
However, we live in a very small 1 bdroom apt right now. Things are really tight space wise. We haven't been able to move because we want to stay in Manhattan on the UES (this is where my family is and day care as well)
When DH was dropping off the kids this afternoon, they said to him "We want to come over to your apt and see the children in their own environment."
*** does that mean? I bring them to you because you have more space and we are so tight here.
Plus, we have a dog (90 lbs) who doesn't particuarly like people (but she loves the kids) So, we would have to lock the dog in the bedroom.
I don't want them here. They make me feel uncomfortable and I don't want to be uncomfortable in my own home. There just isn't the space for all of us here.

What is there to see? It isn't like they never been here. Four of us live in 650 square feet. We are wall to wall furniture and baby gear.
Unless they are splitting with their cash to buy us a bigger apt. I just don't know what their intent is.
