Im giving his music together teacher a $20 visa gift card. Only because he loves her and she is so good. Im not giving his other teachers anything.

I never gave a holiday gift. I did write a thank you to our music teacher because DS really enjoyed the class. As a teacher I know a sincere thank you is always meaningful.

If Iam doing a group gift with the class, $5 per child in the class and usually a GC to starbucks, target, etc
If I am giving by myself--$10...

I am giving $25 Visa gift cards and cookies to the two women who assist me with a class I lead, but that's different. They also babysit my son during the year.
I would think a $10 gift card or a thank you is enough. Or cookies.

Spanish teacher (first year with her): Bamboo in glass vase (she's pregnant)
Spanish Teacher (last and this year): A velvet gift bag with smelly lotions from B&BW
Substitute Spanish teacher: Christmas cookies
Music Together: I didn't realize it was last class so nothing
Gymboree (same teacher since she was 3 months old): Bath &Body Works Stress Relieving lotion, bath salts, etc (she works a lot, teachers cheerleading, and has 2 young kids)

We go to story time and, mother goose and baby and me class. I got the instructors some nice smelling scented lotions. Today was the last class for baby and me for this year. I was the only one who gave her a gift. I felt so bad for her. Not for nothing,but she worked so hard making sure everyone has a good time. Gosh, get her something.

Yesterday we went to a mommy and me class and everyone had gifts for the teacher. I ended up giving a starbucks gift certificate
