Glucose test

If you failed did they call right away...I took it yesterday and wondering how soon they would call if I failed?

Depends on where they send the blood for processing or if it's done on sight. And then it just depends on how quickly the results get back to your dr and when they decide to pick up the phone and call. I got my 1 hr results 2 days later and I'm still waiting on my 3 hr results from last week.

I had it done at a lab on a Saturday. I was told the results would be ready by Monday or Tuesday. I think my doctor called me on Tuesday or Wednesday to let me know I failed.

My OB sends it out, I had my test on a Tuesday, and got the results the following Monday. But apparently it was only because my OB was on vacation and nobody else thought to call me with the results that I failed! The nurse told me it usually takes about 2 days.

I was told no news was good news.
