Washing baby clothes
I just wanted to share some advice from a BTDT mom. I learned a hard lesson with DD#2. I washed almost all her clothes before she came so I would be prepared and when she was born, she did not fit into any of the newborn size and only wore 0-3 outfits for about 2 weeks(she was 9lbs 3oz and 21 inches long)She never lost weight in the hospital & She grew like lightening too. So my advice to you is to wash a few outfits and wait to see how it goes. I must have 30 outfits/pj's that were washed and never worn

Re: Washing baby clothes
Thanks for posting this. I may be in that boat with a larger baby, so it's good to know.

Re: Washing baby clothes
good point.
I was so excited to open and wash everything that I did the same thing. Almost all her clothes fit her, but I opened all my receiving blankets and I ended up with a million that I couldnt return and I never even use them. I gave them to charity.
