I think I'm now certifiably crazy!!!
We were in BRU yesterday, and I was looking at the travel system that we registered for (and received at our shower a few weeks ago--it's still sitting in the box), and all I could think while looking at it was...
BOY, IS THAT THING UGLY!!!!!   
I remember absolutely loving it when we registered for it...and now I can't stand it!
WHAT is wrong with me??!!!  DH just looked at me, said "Are you kidding me right now?" and I think has accepted the fact that the travel system will be going back to BRU today

I don't really love my stroller/infant car seat either but honestly, I'm too tired to care. As long as it functions well for DD that's all I'm focusing on now. If I really looked at a lot of the stuff I registered for and received at my shower, a whole bunch of sh!t would be going back!! At almost 37 weeks, it's not happening!! Try not to make yourself [and DH] crazy!!

BRU changes their patterns so frequently, you are always going to see something you like better or thats more improved- My DS is only 3 and everything he has has been made better/nicer/more efficient already ..Its frusturating !

I literally LOL when I read this. There is one thing i registered for that I scrambled to take off last night, but it was bought already!  So I guess that's going back. BRU better not give me a hard time!
This really made me LOL!!! I was thinking about all this last night, I sure hope I don't regret any of my choices. I put a lot of time into it...but it was hard to make the right choice still.

I kind of felt that way after I got my things with DD. I was so concerned with getting neutral things that I didn't necessarily get things I loved. I ended up keeping them but didn't love them. I hated my travel system and sold it because it was heavy so that is gone and done with but I still have the pack n play.
ETA: Good choice on switching for a Metrolite. I had the Quattro Tour and HATED that thing, absolutely hated it!
All my friends with the Metrolite have been very happy.

That's what I heard. Especially with my bad back, I just KNEW I would hardly ever use the Quattro. DH fought me on it, because he liked all the "bells and whistles" of the other systems...but I'm carrying the baby, so I win.

If it helps any, I think the 2nd one is even better looking than the first. And it's more gender neutral so good thinking in exchanging it.
