Citi Buys Wachovia Banking Operations
Another one down. I think we're going to end up with 4 large banks...Chase, HSBC, BOA and Citi.

I heard this too. My dad works for Wachovia, the financial institution so he does not know how this is going to effect him.

Wow...I have been saying four big banks for awhile...it will take some time, but it looks like we are heading that way.
A bank in Europe just folded as well.

Pretty soon its just going to be "us" and "them"
"us" = consumers/bankers
"them" = 1 bank

My dad just found out that Wachovia is not selling the brokerage firm so he is ok in his job.
