So I have ONE bad indulgent day......
and I TOTALLY got caught!.
I admit it- I ate a disgusting amount of Entemanns chocolate covered doughnuts today. I'm talking like, I think thats all I ate for lunch.
I go to my OB appointment and the nurse asks me, "Did you eat alot of sweets today?"
Me: what do you mean, why?
Nurse: You had glucose in your urine sample, an abnormal amount.
Me: Well- I had a doughnut earlier (LIES).
Nurse: Just one? Hmmm (looks at chart).
Me: Well- can we say I had more than one and leave it at that?
I wanted to DIE. I was so sick this afternoon and was FINALLY feeling better (physically and emotionally. I had resigned to myself, "It was just one bad day. I'll eat lots of fruits and veggies tomorrow." I figured I'd forget all about it and tomorrow would be a new day.
Then I got totally called out on it.
