How often do you see the dr in the 1st (and even 2nd) tri?

Re: 1st tri- dr appts

This is the way it works in my practice:

Until week 26 (or 28), every 4 weeks. Then it's every other week.

I believe starting around Week 34 (could be 36, I have it written down at home), every week.

Re: 1st tri- dr appts

Every practice is different. I saw my doctor pretty often during the first trimester. I saw the doctor every 2-3 weeks during the first trimester. My first appointment was 2-3 weeks after my BFP (annual exam and was sent for bloodwork). My next appointment was 2 weeks later (first sono) and then I went 2-3 weeks after that (paperwork appointment and finger prick test for ultrascreen). My last appointment during the first trimester was the ultrascreen.

Since then, I've gone every 4 weeks. Other than my anatomy scan, the second trimester appointments basically consist of giving a urine sample, getting weighed, having my blood pressure taken and listening to the heartbeat.

I went every 4 weeks until 27 weeks, then three weeks later for a 29 week visit and now I'm going every two weeks.

First and second trimester are every 4 weeks. After 26 wks, it's every 2 weeks and after 36 weeks, it's every week. If you get to 40 wks and no baby yet I think it's every other day but I'm not sure.

I went every 4 weeks. I go back in 2 weeks for my 28 week appt and I think at that point they start every 2 weeks until week 36 when it increases to once per week.

Re: 1st tri- dr appts

I went for my first at 10 weeks, then again at 12wks/6days for the ultrascreen, 16 weeks, and will go again at 19wks/6days for my Level II.

I've also had bi-weekly quick internal sono checks for my cervix though, so I've basically been going every two weeks.
