If you have/had morning sickness...

when did it start to occur for you? Did anyone feel any nausea around the time of BFP?

Just curious of your experiences! Thanks!Chat Icon

Re: If you have/had morning sickness...

I was feeling very nauseous the day after I got BFP & then 2-3 days following that & I actually got sick one night, but then it subsided. Looking back I think it might have been taking my prenatals on an empty stomach. It's a week later & no instances since then.

Re: If you have/had morning sickness...

I think it's different for everyone- and even different each time you get pregnant.

I conceived in June (didn't work out) and I was quesy from very early on, probably about a 8 DPO. It was kind of a low grade nausea, but no actual throwing up. With this time, I haven't had a bit of it so far. Here's to hoping it stays away!Chat Icon

Re: If you have/had morning sickness...

I never puked, but I was very naus....

It started around week 5/6 and it tapered off around week 10. Then to just come back to taunt me week 13.

Now it's gone, but my motion sickness is out of control-- which I had before, it's SO MUCH worse now. I need to do all the driving and forget about the subway-- it's like a metal torture chamber for me.

Re: If you have/had morning sickness...

I got my BFP waaaaaaaay yearly, but I got m/s pretty much from week 5 or so. It now seems to finally be over at week 15.

My first PG I only had mild nausea (although at the time I thought it was awful) and it was only on & off a few times during the first tri. Dr said it was concurrent with the baby's growth spurts.

Re: If you have/had morning sickness...

I started feeling nauseous the day I conformed my BFP with a digital test. I felt pretty nauseous for the first week, then it was better for a week and by 6 weeks, it came back with a vengeance.

Re: If you have/had morning sickness...

I started gagging whenever I would smell things or try to eat in the 4th week. I started having some dry heaving in the 5th week & by the 6th week I was throwing up regularly.

Re: If you have/had morning sickness...

The first week after I found out I didn't feel too nauseous, but I didn't feel "right." One day at work I almost laid down on the tile bathroom floor b/c I suddenly just felt sick like I was going to pass out! (Thank god that passed and I didn't have to lay down...yuk!) But then the next week - around week 5 - the nausea started for me. It finally started to subside around 14 weeks and now (at about 16 weeks) I only seem to get nauseous if my stomach's empty or if I ate something a bit too greasy. But I was lucky in that I never got so sick that I threw up - though I felt close to it a bunch of times!
