37.5 week appointment......
once again, no internal.... but becuase of my GD, they did another biophysical assay on Scone.
There's news and news......
Scone is looking great. Biophysical looked fine. BUT Once again, my BP creeped up a tad. Originally I was 120/70..... last couple weeks it creeped up to 80.... THIS week it was 130/90 This is starting to smell like the start of pre-eclampsia.... It's concerning (espcially when you take into account my edema).
However, my OB said that he's not worried becuase there's no protein in my urine, I have no other symptoms, and my BP at one 1st trimester visit was 120/80.... so he said a 10 point gain is not that important.
None the less, I'm a tad worried that I may be going down that path soon. I hope it can hold out until Scone comes out of the oven!

Re: 37.5 week appointment......
Hopefully everything will be fine. It was the opposite with me the other day, my BP is perfect but I had protein in my urine again so they sent me for the 24 hr. collection. Everything came back normal. I have terrible, terrible swelling though in my legs and it's moving up my legs now. I was swollen from the knee down but now my thighs are all swollen and pudgy. I'm being tormented!!!!

Re: 37.5 week appointment......
ugh.... no thigh swelling, but SUPER swelling in the ankles and tops of the feet, and moderate calf swelling.
no protein in the urine, or else I'd be super worried considering my elevated BP. I actually hovered over the nurse when she tested my urine.... I think she was getting irritated, but I was getting tense becuase I just found out my BP went up again....
sigh.... we'll get through these last 2 weeks! The longest 14 days......

Tops of feet, ankles, calves, knees, thighs.........there is NO end to this swelling. I feel like if you poke me hard enough I will spring a leak!!!
I'm glad your urine is ok though, that's good news. I guess unless you have all th symptoms, or at least the major markers for pre-eclampsia, they don't worry. We've made it this far, hopefully we'll hang in there without developing it in these last 2 weeks. These looooooooooooong last 2 weeks!!!!!! Hope you're feeling good otherwise, wish I was.
