anyone have to take lovenox shos?
Sorry to crash, I have a quick question! I found out about my blood clotting disorder and was told i would need to be on lovenox throughout my pregnancy.
I was wondering...does anyone know when it should start? I was told with the positive HCG, but a friend of mine still miscarried with that. It worked for her when she started 2 weeks before.
Any ideas???? Thanks!
Thanks everyone. This is so confusing. I don't understand why there are so many different opinions. I just wonder if there is a cut-off number or something that would help decide when to start this shot. I would hate to think that, if God forbid, something were to go wrong with my next pregnancy I could have prevented it. UGH!!! I hate this!!!

I started it at a little over 4 weeks, but I didn't know about my issues until then. I am not sure if I would have started during the 2WW if I had known.
I do know that most of the time, miscarriages that are caused by clotting issues happen in the late 1st tri or in the 2nd tri. Very early m/c are usually chromosomal issues.
I am 19 weeks now, so starting at 4 wks was fine for me.

I did not find out that I had a clotting disorder until I was approx. 12 weeks
my doctor wanted to me to "wait it out" before going on lovenox 
needless to say, I switched doctors and was put on lovenox right away...I have a georgeous and healthy baby girl
when I asked my hematologist "what happens when I get pregnant again", he told me to come and see him and he would put me back on the lovenox

Hi, I'm on lovenox 1x a day and will remain until the end. I am 32 weeks. I started at 4.5 weeks. That's when I met with the perinatal Doctor. I

I started my shot 1 x a day as I was trying to conceive (at ovulation). The Dr. increased my shot to 2 x a day as I needed it. I will continue until approx 2 weeks before I give birth (I will be induced).

I do. I started the lovenox after my pregnancy was confirmed....40mg once a day.
