Question for Lovenox girls...
For those doing Lovenox injections due to blood clotting disorders, do you know if we'll have to stay in the hospital longer than normal due to the increased risk of a clot after labor?

I don't THINK so...my OB told me I should have a perfectly normal delivery and recoup...

I was not told anything about this....only that I have to stay on lovenox for 6 weeks after birth because the biggest chance of getting a clot is after the birth

My best friend was on Lovenox and did not require an extended hospital stay. Her whole experience was textbook from start to finish, although as another poster said she was on Lovenox after the birth.
Best of luck. I'm sure it will be fine. It truly amazes me how many woman are on this drug and how it has allowed people to have children who otherwise might not have.
