Will you have a shower for your second child or how will you get all the stuff for the new baby?

I had a sprinkle for my 2nd, it was smaller then my first shower and my mom had it for me at her house. I made up a registry for the things I really needed.

I don't expect a shower for my 2nd- DD is only 19 months old and we aren't finding out what we are having. I am hoping if we have a boy that people give me hand-me-downs or a couple of new outfits but that's about it. We don't need anything else- we have all the other stuff.

my situation is that we got rid of everything baby related so we need a crib, stroller, i can definitely live without the play pen, and things that i didnt really use the first time around and we are going to be very tight too.

I have a DD, if we have another girl I won't need anything except double stroller.

If we find out we're having a boy I hope I'll get a sprinkle for some clothes and a few more boyish things.

I've tried very hard not to get things in girl colors but people gave us so much pink stuff and DD loves dolls so we'll need some more boy type toys.

This is my 3rd and my sprinkle is on Sunday. I already had all the big stuff, so I just registered for clothes and bottles and stuff like that.

I had a small Sprinkle(10 people) Immediate family. There is a 7 year gap.

I am not having anything. I needed some more stuff that I didn't have for DS so we just bought it ourselves.

The only thing I will really need now is clothes if it is a girl but if it is a boy, we are good to go

my first and second are 6 1/2 years apart and i didnt have much from the first, and they were different sexes. I did have another shower it was at a resturant but with less people. My 2nd and 3rd will only be about 17-18 months apart and i am not having a shower, maybe a small lunch with my family and few close friends.

Since I am having another I don't need anything but a double stroller (they will be 3 years apart) and some little things. My job threw me a little shower and they gave me a gift card to BBB so I went shopping last week to get the stuff I needed.

If this was a boy, my mom would have had a little sprinkle for me because I would have needed boy clothes and stuff

If people want to come, they can, if not, they do not have to

I never got the whole no shower for the 2nd baby thing but that is just me

We only do one shower in my family. My children would be at least 4 years apart. I will not expect anything when #2 comes along. It would be nice though!

DH wants to have a sprinkle. If we have a girl we will need some stuff, plus we want to register for G diapers, a stroller, etc.

I was thinking of just making a registry & then if people want to buy stuff they can, but DH wants to have a small party with closest fam & friends.

I just found out I am having a after having 2 girls. Everything I have is pink exceot the big stuff. I told DH that I may do a mini registry and he told me NO! He said its like asking for gifts. Whatever, he may lose on this one. I don't think there is anything wrong with having a small get together for 2nd, 3rd babies.

I don't plan on having another shower for my future babies. I think people will still send stuff around the time of the baby's birth (especially clothes) anyway. I'll by the additional stuff myself, and I'm sure close family will know the major items you need and can choose whether they want to help out.

mine will be only 14 1/2 months apart and I am gettign a shower. At the last minute my family decided to throw me one.

We'll have a 3.5 year age gap & as far as I know, I won't be having a shower this time (unless someone decides to throw me a small one). I still have all of the big items from DD. The only thing we'll need is clothing (especially if it's a boy. For a girl I have some, but for a summer baby & this will be a spring baby) really. Possibly a new carseat too.

If you want to have a sprinkle for the new baby I think that's fine, especially with the age gap you have. There is no reason the second baby shouldn't be celebrated too!
