Re: Anyone awake that lives on Staten Island
Just a driving question.
I am going to southern Jersey today. in like an hour. Every single direction thing from my Garmin to Mapquest tells me to go over the gothals (sp?) bridge. I've always gone over the Outterbridge x-ing. Which one is faster?

Definitely the Outerbridge crossing. Do you know how to get there?

Re: Anyone awake that lives on Staten Island
Oh you will be fine (with the weather) If it rains, its only going to be this morning & its supposed to clear up by mid day.
You know... Mapquest only tells you to take the goethals to Six flags because its actually easier to get to the NJ turnpike using that bridge. Once you take the Goethals, you are entering the turnpike at Exit 13 opposed to when you take the Outerbridge, you are getting on at Exit 10. You will be bypassing tons of traffic that way.
Just take the outerbridge- it will lead you to the 440 Jersey side & you will eventually see signs for the turnpike.
Have a great day!
