What do you think of these girl names?
Our baby is due right around Christmas, so it is early, but DH and I have been discussing names. We're pretty set on a boy name, but for a girl we are in total disagreement. These are the three names we agree on.
Ginger
Holly
Rita
Audrey
ANy thoughts? Any favorites?
ETA: LAst name.

To be honest, I'm not crazy about any of them. But they're just really not my taste. Holly is probably the best of the bunch though. I think Gilligan's Island with Ginger and Rita sounds like an older woman's name. Good luck with deciding!

I agree....if I had topick 1 it would be Holly.....Rita and Ginger I cannot see calling a baby, JMHO

I'm not really crazy about any of them but that's just my opinion. I lean towards different, uncommon names so you probably can't go by me anyway.  Those girl names just sound a little old fashioned BUT if you and your DH like them then by all means I think you should use them.

Love Audrey. I wanted to name my girl that so badly, but DH thought it was too old fashioned. I think it's a classic name and I really love it.
If you like Ginger, what about giving her the full name Virgina? I have a woman in my office who goes by Ginger, but her real name is Virginia.

I am so happy somebody got that! Rita was one of MIL's favorite aunts and she was spunky and cool, plus I love Rita Hayworth. Holly and Ginger are for the holidays and DH suddenly likes Audrey.

Same here, those names are not so common compared to the ones used lately. I like Audrey most.

I like Holly and Audrey. My mom was born on 12/23 and her name is Carol--as in Christmas Carol!! (Her full name is Caroline, but EVERYONE calls her Carol) There's an idea!

I like Holly the best. DH's cousin is born right around Christmas and her first and middle name are: Holly Daye ("holiday"). It's cute b/c Holly still works if you don't know her middle name. Good luck
