at my OBGYN practice.......AF looks like she has finally arrived....so on to clomid I go..I wanted to see if I can get an appointment for a sonogram to rule out any cysts before starting.....so I call the after hours number because I know there are there.....the woman answering the phone says no she is completely booked...so I said okay..can you call me if you have any cancelations?...she says no because I am calling the emergency number....helllloooo...you can't dial out if someone calls to cancel?????.......so ****** because who knows how long it will last for......whatever...vent over.....

the answering services are useless... they're not physically in the same office as the dr- or the appointment book for that matter... I would call the drs office directly during office hours OR ask to have the dr. call me directly and leave my #...
I don't use the main # at my RE's office anymore during off hours or lunch b/c I can't stand the answering service- they're useless... I call the receptionist's direct # instead... GL!!!

ETA: I took 3 rounds of clomid last year- Sept- Nov I think, so it's been a while but i THINK you take it days 3-8 or 5-10... either way you should be able to call them first thing Monday morning and see if you can come in then...
