Re: post-coitol
I've had two done - they don't hurt AT ALL. It's just like getting a pap. All they do is literally take a swab and put it under the microscope.
Unfortunately for me, my results for both WERE abnormal - while DH's little guys were numerous, they weren't swimming, but instead just wavering. After two post-coitals showing the same thing, I was diagnosed with having "hostile cervical mucuos" (I'm going on vacation tomorrow, with the hopes of making my CM a little more relaxed and less aggressive )
There are some natural remedies, but not all RE's believe in them - i.e. Preseed, mucinex, estrogen supplements and evening primrose oil. Otherwise, they usually suggest having an IUI to bypass the issue entirely, which again, is NO big deal, it costs very little and again feels just like a Pap.
Hopefully your results will be normal!
