How much do you pay to have someone shovel your driveway?
I think I just got "taken".
Oh well...at least we won't have to do it. Paid $60 to 4 guys and it took them like 5 min...but they did a good job.

Last year Kevin was out shoveling when he saw the guy next door had someone plowing for him. So he gave him $20 to finish the driveway.

I think that's okay! They were out in my neighborhood early this morning ringing door bells, they usually ask for $100 or more!  but they know in our area they can get that. We also have very long, steep driveways. We hired a snow removal service for this year, but they have yet to come today, and nobody has called me back.  I think DH and I may be out there later with the snow blower

Yes, and since my DH will do anything to get out of manual labor, he has no problem paying someone to do it for him!

I don't think 60 is too much. My 80 year old neighbor does it for us and won't stop as much as we tell him to! It's nuts. But, it was really light today.

I just spoke to my dad and he paid $15 for the walkway and sidewalk (not driveway). They originally wanted $25, dad said no... Then they wanted $20... My dad said it was still too high. He offered $15 and they took it. They were done in under 15 mins.

$0 - we do it ourselves
but $60 sounds reasonable - especially if you have a large area to shovel
that's $15 per guy - could two have them done it? probably, but it would have taken them longer - my guess is they're making a killing today if they're banging out driveways in an avg of 5-10 minutes a pop
