Who else loves being an aunt?
My sister and I are both teachers and since we both had off this week I got to spend most of the week my sister and niece. I love my niece Emma so much. The fact that she is such a happy baby and always laughing these cute little belly laughs make every day bright!!

ME ME ME!!!! My niece will be 4 this August. When she gets excited to see me, melts my heart. I love spending time with her.

i loveeeeeeeeee being an aunt! i love my niece and nephews like they were my own children and every time i get to see them and spend time with them just makes me so happy!
and when they're bad or become a handful you can give them back to their parents!

I've been an aunt since I was 19 and I love it. My nephews are 8 (almost 9) and 5, and just love seeing me and DH. We have such a good time with them.

I love my Nephew(10) and my niece who is going to be 6 year's old on the 7th of march very much... I call my nephew my lil man and my niece my angel. my niece everytime she see's me gives me a big hug and yells my Name..lol, My nephew he loves playing Wii with me and beats me at every game.

I just spent a few days at my brother's in VA... with my 10 month old nephew... hopefully I'll get to see my beautiful niece in a few weeks.

I have 9 nieces and nephews and they're awesome. 4 of them are 3 years old and it is seriously the MOST FUN age ever. It's also fun with the older kids because there's more to talk to them about now (and, tease them about their "girlfriends" and crushs)

I'm not an "official" aunt- my BF had a baby in October but he's my little guy and theres nothing like the feeling of holding him and making him smile.
If it feels this good just with him...I cannot begin to imagine how great its gonna be with my own little angel!

It's my favorite thing and my two nieces are my favorite people! I never thought I could love anyone as much as I love my two little girlfriends. We have a great time together and I love when I walk in and they yell "Aunt Wendy!!!!!"

I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews. I love spending time with them...we are long distance (them in NJ, us in RI) so when we do get to see them, its very special to me

These posts make me smile, but also make me sad. I wish I could love being an aunt too, but we live so far away from NY now and the ILs haven't ever come to visit, so I haven't even seen my niece and nephews in a little over a year. I'm not really close with my SIL, so it's hard to be close to her kids, even though I'd love to have a relationship with them. 
Kudos to all of you for being such wonderful aunts! You're very lucky. I hope those kids continue to bring you love and happiness, and vice versa!

I love it!!! Even though I inherited them through marriage - I've known these kids for 8 years and I love them so much. They are now 20, 17, 15 and the twins are 13.

Aw! I love my nieces and nephews like crazy. The older ones (30, 24 and 22) call me their "Aunster" because they say I am a cross between an Aunt and a Sister. I love my relationship with them because they trust me and always come to me with whatever drama or questions about life they have had as they get older. Stuff they didn't want to tell their parents they would chat about with me. It was hilarious because they would set the bar for popularity and coolness by ME. They had no idea how completely opposite of cool that I was/am!
My youngest nephew is 12 and he is like my oldest child. He is a total handful - his mom (my sister) died when he had just turned 5 so he has been raised by his dad, brother and handicapped sister in a pretty non-traditional atmosphere. He loves coming over to my house and doing the more 'conventional' stuff. He is wild - but amazing and smart and I love him so much it hurts my heart.

I have two nephews ages 4 and 2 and they are such a delight!
Now that I have one on the way my sister tells me every day how excited she is to finally be the Aunt!
