because LH metabolizes later in the day and isn't fully detectable in your urine until the afternoon - it's best to hold your urine for 4 hours and test between 4 and 10pm (i've heard).
if you test in the morning you will most likely miss your surge and never get a full positive.

I used FMU the first month with OPKs, and got a +OPK on CD 17.
The next month, I got a +OPK on CD 17 AND CD 18.
So I think maybe I ovulated on the 19th, which I wouldn't have really known had I not tested at night and gotten two +OPKs.

So you tested at night on CD 17 and got a positve and again on CD 18 at night and got a postive? If you would have tested on CD 17 in the morning and again on CD 18 you would not have gotten the positive??? I still don't understand why....sorry
