OPK Question

Ok, so last month was our first month of TTC.....and for the first time in a really long time, my ovulation was delayed and AF was 5 days late so now I am all thrown off. I tried using the OPKs with the lines last month (I did not have the patience) so this month I am going to use the digitial OPKs.

I am on CD 4 right now (trying to prepare early!!) and I usually o around CD 14 or 15, but last month I didn't o until around CD 18/19ish -which was really late for me. When should I start using the OPK this month? I am hoping I catch my surge on the first pack so I don't have to go out and buy another!!

I would say on CD13. there are 7 sticks in a pack, so that would take you to CD19.

That is, if you are certain you would never O before CD13.... to be more cautious, CD12?

If you think you O on CD 14, I would start testing on CD 12. Since there are 7 in a pack, you will have enough to get you to CD 18. If you O on CD 19, you would likely get a on CD 18 anyway so that should be enough
