How far along am I??

I have my first doc appointment tomorrow morning.

The first day of my last AF was Nov. 12

Babygaga is telling me that I am 4 weeks 6 days pregnant.

Fit Pregancy is telling me that I am 6 weeks.

This doesn't make any sense

My last AF was Nov 17th. I know what you mean about the times. You don't know if they are talking from the time the baby was conceived or from the time of your last period. It gets so confusing.

it is soo confusing... I did not know how far along i was until I went to the dr (all different websites say different things with the same info...)

The last day of my period was 11/11. Remember , we are one day apart?

When I went to the doctor on 12/10 he said I was about 4 weeks and actually gave me the paper counter thing that they use when the calcualte the due date. I am assuming I turned 4 weeks on 12/11 bc that is exactly 4 weeks from my last period. you should be 5 weeks as of today.

he also told me my estimated conceived date is 11/25. So I guess yours would be the 26th.

I will check the paper thing they gave me for you tonight when I get home. It gives exact dates.

I would say that you are 5 weeks.

I also looked at AmericanPregnancy.org. They put you between 4.5 weeks and 5.5 weeks depending on your cycle length - what is your cycle length?

I can clarify. They are all correct. I read your Fit Pregnancy page. Here is what they mean:

Think of a baby when they're born. The first year of their life you don't say they're 1, after they complete year 1, they turn 1. So they are then living the 2nd year of their life, but you say they are 1 year old.

So, Fit Pregnancy says you're 6 weeks and have 34 weeks, 5 days to go. That would mean you are actually 5 weeks, 2 days. 34, 5 + 5, 2 = 40 weeks. So you are 5 weeks, 2 days but you are IN your 6th week. Meaning you completed 5 weeks like a baby that completed the first year of their life.

Does that explanation make sense?

Counting on my ordinary calendar from November 12, you are 5 weeks 2 days today. Your weeks start on Mondays (because Nov. 12 was a Monday).

This Friday I'll be 36 weeks. If you counted backwards by weeks you'd reach April 13 - first day of my last AF.

Yes, 5 weeks 2 days. Your doctor will confirm this for you on your first visit.
