New Lense
I know I've asked this before but I can't find the post. I have a Nikon D40. DH said he'll buy me a new lense for Xmas. It's really all I want. He wants to buy it today since we don't have the kids today. (Thank you grandma and grandpa)
Anyway please suggest one. I really didn't have the time to research. I want one to take pics of my kids. You know candids, on the soccer field,etc...

Which one do you already have?
I have a 28-80 mm (I use inside) and a 70-300 (I use outdoors). For Christmas I am getting a 55-200 mm. I wanted the 18-200 mm, but it was

18-200mm It is a fantastic all around lense. You can use it for almost everything

i second the 18-200 vr lens.. pricey but it'll be the only lens you'll need!
