Women who use Lubricants
So most of the women on here probably already know this but I figure it is good information for the few who don't. Most lubricants i.e. KY are spermacides. They can't say that on the bottle because they are not technically spermacides and you can still get preggo while using it, but it does kill sperm. If you want to use lubricant you should use Olive oil. Just so you know

olive oil? is that safe??
I've heard a lot of the girls on here talk about Pre-Seed, which does not kill sperm but is a lubricant.

My friend was trying to get pregnant for year and went to the top Fertility specialist in Los Angeles. She said use Olive oil instead for lubricant, and BAM she got pregnant the first time!

i guess i believe this, but in reality, how much of the sperm in ejaculate actually come into contact with the lubricant? most of the lube is on the penis and vaginal walls - not the uterus, where the sperm have to go.

The sperm need to pass through the cervix and need a friendly environment in there. If there is not enough CM, then the sperm will have no place to live and will die. That is why EWCM is so fertile, it is the ideal environment for the sperm to live until they are ready to meet the egg.
I for one am not going to be using olive oil, or egg whites, way too sticky and messy, but we used preeseed last cycle and it was great. Preseed mimics your body's EWCM.
Also, for women who are on some fertility meds, like clomid, the CM gets dried up, so a lubricant is needed. Ones like KY, etc. are not sperm-friendly.

Exactly! I have NO CM due to many issues (being on Clomid one of them)

also many lubes have a viscosity that is not conducive for sperm to pass through on its way to the cervix. preseed is similar to EWCM.
