I just hold out the bowl and let them pick what they want. I had a lot of different thing, so this way they can get what they like.
Most kids took one, a few took handfulls  and some took 2.
I didn't mind b/c I had so much to get rid of.

I made treat bags this year. It had skittles, butterfinger, bubblegum, a pop up toy, and mcdonalds coupons for treats

probably alot, i like to give out huge handfuls per kid. 6 or 7 candies each.
Remember everything is tiny now. When our parents used to go trick or treating, they gave out Regular size bars.
I actually remember a guy on my block gave out full size bars every year, wich was like unheard of...im 27 so it wasnt that long ago
