Should I worry?
I felt my first flutters at 14wks, then again the next day, but not really again until 16 wks or so. Since 16wks (I'm 17w2d now) I have felt flutters consistently (a couple of times a day). But, now I haven't felt anything since Sunday. Should I be concerned?

Re: Should I worry?
I had the same thing..and now at 23weeks I can go a day without feeling things.
The one thing I did notice is if I skip a day of feeling anything, when i do actually feel the baby again, its in a different spot. I think we go through growth spurts and the baby moves around, which is why we can skip a day or two.
Did you try juice or chocolate..those usually get the baby moving for me..

Re: Should I worry?
I had OJ this morning and a fruit smoothie with lunch. I just asked our receptionist to run out for some cupcakes so that should be enough sugar I have bloodwork tonight with the nurse practicioner at my MD's office, I may ask her to run the doppler over my belly just to make me feel better.

Re: Should I worry?
I don't think so. I had the same thing.. where I would feel flutters and than wouldn't. At this point, it is so faint, that you may have felt it but been too busy too notice.. where other times you paid attention. My dr. always told me not to worry about these things because only if we sat there concentrating on it - would we not miss anything. But because women today work and are busy during the day its normal to miss their movements.

Re: Should I worry?
I didn't feel consistent movement until around week 20. Before then I would go a day without feeling anything, since the movements were so slight anyway. Plus the baby could just be floating somewhere where you can't feel it.

Same here - at 26 weeks, I feel the baby every day, but somedays she's very active, and some days, I only feel some sporadic movement.
As someone else mentioned, I notice that when I dont feel the baby as much for a couple of days...once I feel her a lot again, it's in a different spot and usually the kicks are stronger.

I don't think so. I go days with not feeling anything or very little. I'm 18.5 weeks. I know in the next 5-10 weeks I will be feeling a lot more.

Re: Should I worry?
I still don't think I have felt flutters and I am 19w.
thankfully we heard the heartbeat last week, and have our level II this weekend, for the reassurance that all is ok.

Re: Should I worry?
It's kind of a mind trip... U feel them then u don't for days. The doctor told me not to worry cuz sometimes she/he will give off stronger movements some days than others, and u will feel them sooooooooooo much soon!

Thanks ladies - we got to hear a nice strong heartbeat tonight so I feel better. I have another appt next week and my level II the following week so I think I'll be worry free for the next month!
