I know a lot of kids have peanut allergies but I only try to give out candy with peanut butter.
Why? Because I HATE peanut butter. It's the only candy I won't eat... in years passed I ate way too much Haloween candy

Duct taped to the vacuum
In the linen closet
Pots and pan drawer
All of the places my DH never sees a need to go into candy is safe there.

Usually I get the variety bag from Target.
Snickers/Milky Way/3 Musketeers
I'm thinking this year of just getting Snickers since that's what Kevin and I like the most, and we normally end up with a lot left over.

that's hilarious! and one more place I can add to this list - in the washer or dryer. he probably doesn't even know how they open

I don't think we're gonna give anything. Last year we didn't get a single tick-or-treater. 
Our house is sort of out of the way I guess.
Maybe I'll buy one bag just to be safe b/c you know if I don't buy anything we'll get 100's of kids at the door!!

We have a TON of trick or treaters. I mean prob. close to a hundred. We're giving out the usual variety minis and i bought ring pops too this year. The first year we were in this house DH bought full size candy bars, and I think the neighbors expect that now!

We always give out chocolate of some sort.
My sister says she hates giving unhealthy treats so she gets the mini bags of pretzels, and individual size bags of craisins, etc...what a mom

I try to get novelty candies that are cool or weird. Like gummy eyeballs, those little pez type candies that are shaped like bones or whatnot. I let my older son be my guide. If he thinks it is interesting than I buy it.
I haven't shopped to see what's out there this year yet. I guess I better get a move on!

This is why I have NOT bought anything yet, LOL. I don't want to eat it all before the 31st. That said I am thinking of getting tootsie rolls, tootsie pops, and twizzlers - since none of those tempt me!
