im out...
So... I got AF today.
I have a question though, my Dr and I discussed going for an HSG to make sure my tubes are cleared. If I get one done this month (8 days after AF starts) and can DH and I TTC this month? or do we need to wait until next month.
Anyone know?

You can TTC this month. My dr. tolds me the three cycles following my hsg would have a greater chance of me getting pregnant. On the second cycle after hsg, I got my BFP. This was after 15 months of trying. The hsg is a good thing. Good luck!

ITA...the HSG liquid clears out your tubes, etc. so it can increase your chances of getting PG that cycle. Most people have very little discomfort, take 3 advils an hour before you go. Good luck...

u can ttc that month. we didnt though b/c i just felt a little weirded out from it. t was a little sore nothing crazy. I took 3 advils and a xanax b4 the test and i was so fine. my dr also put me on doxycyclin antibiotic just in case it could cause an infection.
r u taking precautionary antibiotics. where r u getting it done?
I went to NSH at Manhasset. Dr. Burke did it and he was awesome along w/ his assistant (forgot her name) . definately let me know if u have any questions.
its been 4 months for me and unfortunately i did not have an hsg baby but at least my tubes are all AOK and clear. let me know if u have any questions and DO NOT read about it online. I was so nervous form everything I heard and it was a piece of cake.

Thank you... I actaully have had it done already, and I didn't feel any pain and I actually didn't take anything either. My main concern was if we could TTC that month... My hubby and I are trying to have a baby before September, if not then we are going to have to wait a few months to TTC again... just becuase of our busy season at work.
