Its funny cause so does DH.
When we lived there - he still didn't want to go.
But I told him I wanted to go - for me to get out and for the baby too Chat Icon

My neighbors feel the same way. They were all running around doing their errands yesterday. My next door neighbor was telling me how she "HATES the INFLUX from those 'other towns'." But I don't mind. I think it is fun and the kids have a wonderful time. Plus - I used to be one of those people causing the influx from other towns so I can't be annoyed. I just do errands at other places this weekend. No great shakes! And next? SEAFOOD FESTIVAL! And BRADSTOCK!

I love this town!

Re: Sayville SummerFest

I grew up in Sayville, and I'm the oddball here - I loved the summer fest. I'm upset that I probably won't be making it this year. I have to wait around and see when my little Lulu is going to be home - hopefully today!

Have a funnel cake for me!!!

There's always next year I guess... Chat Icon

DH, MIL and I went last night after having dinner in town. it was way too humid to stay too long.

typical carnival IMO. expensive games and vendors. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again Chat Icon

DH grew up in Sayville and can't wait to go!!
I've never been, but am not interested in the carnival aspect. I wanted to go today or tomorrow when they have the street fair/craft show.
