There are a ton of great restaurants over there. Some suggestions: Erawan (Thai), Uncle Jack's Steakhouse, Donovan's (pub).

Ah, right - sorry, I meant they didn't take the Bayside one off. I can't imagine the Woodside one ever going out.

Louie's is good - should be interesting to see how it changes. Thanks for the info!

OP: Sorry to hijack!! But Erawan, if you like Thai, is one of my favorite restaurants of all time - highly recommended!

Tequila Sunrise is good. If you want to spend a lot of $$$, Uncle Jack's is awesome!

Re: resturant in Queens

I would recommend Tequilla Sunrise. The new place (about 2 yrs now, but new since I lived there) on the across the street on the opposite corner is good too, I just don't know the name.

Also Sullivan's or Bourbon Street are good. I love the italian place over there, Papassio.

Re: resturant in Queens

Ack- there is a new one that just opened last year and its awesome- owned by an Irish couple. It is between 38 and 39th ave. I wish I could remember the name since it was really good and very reasonable.

Re: resturant in Queens

I recommend Erawan Steak and Seafood - on 39th & Bell...the food is delicious and they have a nice lounge area in the front of the resturant. It is 2 floors and the ambiance is really nice.

I second Press 195 as well

Mythos on Northern, just west of Bell.

AMAZING authentic Greek food, not a gyro place...
