I just recently found out I am full of cysts and had to have 2 lumps biopsied as well. I am not sure what info you are looking for but feel free to FM me.

Hi thank you so much for responding.
I had a mamo tues night and they found a cyst on my right and calcifications on my left. So I have to have an ultrasound on the cyst and another mamo is 6 months for the calcifications.
Im pretty nervous about this and wondering how this all works. thank you

I had a fibroadenoma that I had to get removed, it was no big deal, I was in and out of the hoospital the same day and now I have a lovely scar for all my troubles

I had a lumpectomy done last year (maybe longer now). I have another lump in the same spot again and am contemplating on taking it out again. the procedure is outpatient and they give you a local ant. good luck!

I had one done when I was 21 - so quite a few years ago.
Procedure is pretty quick and I too, have a lovely scar from it.

I had my first mammography done in January and they found calicifications in both my breasts. They said they look like the beningn type but I have to go again in July for a follow-up just to see if there are any changes. I don't have that many - they said some people are loaded with them.
I try not to look too much on the internet or think about it because the whole thing makes me nervous.

I had microcalcifications about 2 years ago. It was biopsied and then I went to have some more tissue removed. It was nerve wracking but turned out fine. Now I got twice a year to get a mammo then sono..I should get a MRI too.

My mom has/had cysts in her breasts...two were removed b/c they were large...she sees a breast surgeon once a year at the request of her gyno to make sure every thing is ok
