Does anyone have a Mei Tai baby carrier?
Just wondering if it's easy to use and comfortable...it looks a little difficult to get on

Re: Does anyone have a Mei Tai baby carrier?
all this sling talk has got me searching....since I love to carry DS around. I found this website: http://www.peppermint.com/comparison.html
I would love to get one but DS is hot little thing, even when he falls asleep on my shoulder I have a sweat mark from him. May be too much body heat in the summer.

We LOVE the Mei Tei!!! Been wearing DD 14 months in it since she was newborn. Once you get the hang of it, it's simple

I want one, but I'm really not allowed. I already have 2 slings, a moby wrap, and a bjorn (and I've got my eye on an Ergo). They look really nice though.

So, what you're saying is this babywearing is addictive!
I looked at the Mei Tai and almost got that one. I think once you get the hang of it, it's easy.
I have the moby. When I took it out to use it, my MIL and SIL looked at me like I was a little crazy. However, I got it right the first time (eventhough in the instructions they said that it could take 3-5 times and to practice). And they didn't think I was so crazy once they saw how good DS was in it.
I also have a hotsling. DS is good in it, however, you can only really put them in one position and it puts too much weight on my shoulder.

I used a Mei Tai all the time until my daughter was about 22 months old and we moved to the suburbs. I loved it for walking around the city, in stores, street fairs, etc. Very comfortable and super easy to use once you've gotten it on a few times.
