Thankfully yes and thankfully both have remarried. Now I have a total of 5 step and half siblings.
I say thankfully b/c I don't see how my mom could have survived being married to my dad. Not that he was abusive or anything, but not a terrific husband at that time. Now he is better to his wife, but I am closer to my stepdad.

Divorced!! I just called my mom to ask..I have no clue when they did...they were married for 17 years and this year they have been divorced for 17 years. My mom never remarried, my dad did about 5 years ago.

Yes they got divorced after 24 years married. About 6 yrs ago.
They just grew apart, nobody did anything wrong. They waited until my sis and I were both out of the house and away at college. It was totally mutual. I actually wasn't that surprised when they told me.
They are best friends though!!! They still talk amost every single day.
At BIL's wedding this weekend they were both there (my dad with his wife and my mom with her boyfriend) and they all sat together and talked all night. Nobody can believe it, but I love it.

Although, they did separate for a while - does that count? They were never legally separated or anything...
