I got an update from Dina's DH! great news came a few hours ago as Dina came through surgery with total success and zero complications. She has a great nurse named Sandra who was pleasantly surprised but somewhat startled when Dina actually woke up and sat up in her bed shortly after being moved to intensive care! (Fortunately, they pumped her up with extra medicine to knock her back out so she can rest up).
She was peacefully sleeping when her dad, her brother, and I saw her in the ICU and we hope to be able to visit her in a semi-awake state in about an hour.
Thanks again for everyone's prayers and well-wishes.
The tentative plan is that Dina may be moved out of intensive care to a step-down room tomorrow morning, and a regular room as early as late tomorrow (Friday) but that's all still pending.
I am so happy things went well! I was worried about her all day & just got home from work and got the update!! I will let you know if I hear anything else!!
