Spinoff: what is your silly phobia
I hate elevators! I only take them when I absolutely have to. I got stuck in one as a kid and have been scared of them ever since.

Def elevators. I don't care how far I have to climb stairs. I haven't even gone back to the ob/gyn because there stairs are locked and you can't use them. I will not use the elevator. I only did when I was PG and I knew I had to keep going to the dr for him.

I hate clowns too.
I also can not stand on the edge of anything or watch others do it. Even at a dock where you can pretty much stand in the water. It just freaks me out.

Bugs. Any and all kinds, indoors or out. They absolutely terrify me. If one gets in the house, I have to use half a roll of paper towels to kill it so I won't "feel" it and throw it out in a full size garbage bag.

taxi cabs scare me... it was one of those movies where a girl got in and the driver was a killer... she realized she was being kidnapped and tried to get out and the locks popped down and she couldnt get out...

I once got locked in a cruise ship bathroom for 1/2 hour and I am now clastrophobic and will hold the bathroom door closed with my hand or my pocketbook will hold it closed. ( Rather safe then sorry), because of this I do not like elevators, I am also scared of spiders too.
ETA: fire, to the point if I put on a candle which is rarely I will not leave it, and have to make sure it is put out, and also that the front door is locked at night, to the point where I will check it 2-3 times after I know it was locked.

mice....I panic when I see them.
And I WIL NOT light a BBQ. Had a bad experice lighting a stove (gas leak + match, not a good combo) when I was younger and I'm petrified I'm going to get burnt the same way again.

-midgets/little people (but didnt realize it until DH took me to see "Wizard of Oz" at the paramount at MSG! they were standing at the door all dressed up and ready to greet people and i was just terrifed!!!!)

That I left a curling iron or somnething on at my house after I left-even after I've checked it a bunch of times. I fear I'll come home to fire engines and a house of ashes. Very weird.
