My senior prom song was "Forever Young" by Alphaville.
That was one of the songs on our list but since Rod Stewart's Forever Young was out at the same time, everyone thought it was that one and did not want it.
I LOVE the Alphaville song and had it at my wedding for my dh and I to dance to later in the evening.

The administrators thought it had been innappropriate for classes before the Class of 1988. Gee, it wasn't like we were about to go to college and partake in sex, drugs and rock-n-roll on a VERY regular basis. I know I didn't.
Lord knows if I didn't drink that first week of college, I never would have met DH.

I attended the senior prom with my boyfiend at the time......it was his prom and I am PRETTY SURE the song was "Time to Remember" Billy Joel. It was in 1992.
I did not go to my senior prom..........DH & I were already dating at this time and all my friends really had graduated the year before, so I have no idea what mine was!

If so
These words are SO inappropriate on SO MANY levels for HS Prom!!
