Rings
When did you have to stop wearing your wedding/engagement rings? I just noticed that mine have become a little snug, and even though I can still wear them, I am nervous that I will wake up one day and not be able to get them off. Two of my friends had to have theirs cut off. I do not want this.
I am thinking about going to look for a "replacement" type ring. Any suggestions?

Re: Rings
Within the past few days, my rings have started getting snug at times. I'm still able to wear them but I may end up wearing just my wedding band which is slightly more comfortable than wearing both together.
I've looked at some "temporary" rings, mostly white gold bands. I found one for about $100 at a local jeweler. I may end up getting that for when the weather starts getting warmer and my hands inevitably swell more often.
ETA: I'm 24 weeks today.

Re: Rings
I stopped wearing mine a little early, around 6 months because my friend scared me because she had to have her rings cut off. I wear my grandma's wedding band and I didnt want to risk it.
I keep meaning to get a band, but I haven't yet.

Re: Rings
I am at the end, I can still wear my wedding band, but I havent been able to wear my beautful e-ring for about 3 weeks now. Sometimes my fingers swell and I am afraid my wedding band will get stuck, but I take it off every evening just in case

Re: Rings
Mine are starting to bother me at 27 weeks...but I am still able to wear them. I will be super sad if I end up totally unable to wear them...they're such a symbol for me so likely I'll wear them as long as I can and then go buy a thick heavy necklace to wear them on.

Re: Rings
My mother had her ring cut off when she had been pregnant with me. I was her fifth and final pregnancy. Go figure! I had it soldered back together and got married in it.

I am 28 weeks, and really dont want to stop wearing mine. I wear them everynight, but tonight, I am not going to wear them. I am scared that I will wake up in the morning, and not be able to get them off. At least during the day, I can keep on checking them.

Re: Rings
I stopped wearing mine around 20 weeks. They were okay when I put them on in the morning, but by the time I got home from work I needed soap or hand cream to pull them off. I was afraid one day they would get stuck and not come off so I just stopped wearing them

Re: Rings
OB urged me to take them off at week 22. I have an eternity band and would never want to cut it.
They don't fit right now due to the edema. I miss mine too.

Re: Rings
I am 35 weeks and mine still slide on and off. I tried taking them off and on every day to make sure they weren't getting too tight to avoid them being cut off. If they are feeling snug and uncomfortable I would def take them off and just get a costume jewelry ring to wear in place of it! In Macy's you can find some decent ones.

Re: Rings
Sometime in my early 20s I had to stop wearing my wedding ring. I still wear my e-ring without a problem but I miss having my wedding ring.

Re: Rings
I'm still able to wear them both fine. But i think soon i won't be able to.
But i have another wedding band that is alittle bigger that should fit if the other ones don't fit.
OK i just put my rings on and they don't fit so i guess now i can't wear them. I have to wear the other one

Re: Rings
Mine started to get a little tight recently. This morning when I tried to put my wedding band on, it was a struggle and it's normally loose. So I decided to go with different rings today. Feels weird.

Re: Rings
My e-ring was slightly smaller than my wedding ring- I forget when I stopped wearing it. I wore my wedding band till 36 weeks- I think I could have gone a little longer but didn't want to push it.
I decided not to bother with a replacement for such a short time span.
