Anyone moving out of state?

Hi all, I'm new to LIF...just curious as to how many of you have plans to move out of state. My husband and I are planning a move to NC this summer. I've secured a teaching job there, and the allure of being able to buy a house affordably is just too great to resist...

...what about you guys?

Thanks!

Re: Anyone moving out of state?

We will probably move to Cape Cod, MA in the next year or two depending on what jobs we can find.

We are hoping either to move upstate or new hampshire. Wherever we find jobs. We thought about NC but it just wasn't for us...

Re: Anyone moving out of state?

we are in the process of reserching it

it would be better for us long term, we can get ALOT more house for our money and have less stress in out day to day life

my husband can work anywhere and we have no family left in the NY area- so it's logically for us to leave and enjoy life alittle more

I get lured in by those gated communities with the pool, club house and golf course- which are all very affordable in other states

ETA- right now it's between Atlanta, GA and Palm Beach County FL ( where my family lives)

but I like the houses better in Atlanta- and they are priced better also, with less taxes

We hope to more somewhere much more rural, we are looking into Tennessee now. For us it will be approx 5 years before we actually move although we may buy something there much sooner.
