Has anyone ever gotten blinds from blinds to go? I want to go on Saturday to get blinds for my bedroom window but its an odd size and they need to be cut. Since its on the island and we are in Queens, I would love to get them done right there and then. Does anyone know if I can or do I have to order them and go back?

I know they are

But the window is such an odd size so I dont know where else to go for custom made.

We did and they are great! Very good quality, we love them. They are a bit pricer then say Targe or Home Depot, but much better quality.

Did you check Home Depot? They do customze blinds.

We stopped in to the one on Old Country Rd. across from Roosevelt Field a few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon and the place was mobbed. You had to sign in and there were probably about 6 people ahead of us. We waited about 20 minutes and the list did not change so we left. I would try to go during the week if you can b/c the sales ppl said the weekends are always like that.

Also, I don't think you can take anything with you same day.

I ordered verticals from JCPenny.com. They were inexpensive and you give exact measurements and they make them. Mine fit perfectly. No cutting needed!.....and I measured the window myself!!

We've been looking for blinds and found that blinds to go was cheaper than HD and Lowes.

We will probably get some blinds there when we're ready.

We just ordered shades from there - I didn't find the prices to be THAT expensive - i tried to find what I liked elsewhere but only BTG seemed to carry them.

What's great is that you order and 2 days later your shades/blinds come in! Can't beat that.

We did blinds from there for 2 rooms and we picked out what we wanted, they came and measured and soon after we had great blinds, I didn't find the prices overly expensive.

We ordered from them and they were custom made in 2 days. I didn't find them expensive at all compared to everyone else. We have cherry wood blinds.

No experience with blinds to go but we ordered custom faux wood blinds from JC Penney when they were having a sale- it was the best price around, saved about 60% from the original asking price, they were delivered to our door.

my mom and aunt got their vertical blinds from there like 5 years ago. my mom was going to throw hers away because they broke, but she found out they are cover by a lifetime gurantee.

I just bought my blinds from Home Depot. My mom and I measured before we left and they cut them for me. It wasn't that expensive at all.
