My Shower! (with pics of course!)
Saturday was my beautiful shower at Novita in Garden City!
I have to say - Novita's not the typical place you'd think of for a baby shower, but I can't even RAVE about them enough! It was super affordable and the food was DELICIOUS! We started off in the "cocktail area" with some mimosas and champagne punch. Then we moved over to the dining area where some fresh fruit was served. People got to choose from french toast, rigatoni a la vodka, caesar salad (with or without chicken) and chicken francese. Then, back over to the cocktail area for zeppoles with chocolate dipping sauce, coffee, and gifts! The food was just so delicious and the staff was so nice and accommodating. They even printed out menus for each place setting!
My aunt and cousin did an amazing job setting up lots of fun games for us to play! There was a belly scratch off ticket at each place setting. We also had a card to give mommy some advice, a word search, word jumble, raffle (money went toward the "diaper fund,") and then a random prize if you had a special sticker under your seat. They had a ton of beautiful gifts and prizes to give out... I couldn't even believe the great stuff they bought - all with coordinating colors!
My mom's friend and her husband did our placecards for us. The got those alphabet blocks and made a slit in them to hold the place cards. They were so cute!
A HUGE hit at the party was our SWEETS TABLE by Emerald City Sweets. I can't even tell you how many compliments we got on it! Everyone loved it... and I totally saw people sneaking 2nd and 3rd helpings!  Christina coordinated everything with the colors, dots and stripes from our bedding. And believe me... this candy made it's way back to San Diego!
I also need to give a HUGE thank you to THE SUGAR CHIC! You would not believe the incredible cake that she made! We went with the same color scheme and the same idea of the blocks... and she made the most beautiful cake ever - not to mention how DELICIOUS it was! I brought back almost a whole "block" for Steve! She also did our favor cookies which were little bear cookies that matched the bear from the shower invitation. Everyone was raving about the cake!
Okay and here are just a few other pictures and some gift-opening pictures! We got an INCREDIBLE amount of gifts! I have no clue where everything is going to go!

WOW!! it looked gorgeous..and so do you with that cute belly.
I soo wanted to do all those cute favor things but no one would let me. My MIL and Mom are clueless when it comes to all this fun stuff.
