Ok.. I think I may ban AJ from going outdoors at Daycare 
I'm using aquafor but does anyone have any advice? Oh and using spray on Neo too. Wish I knew a way to wrap her leg..
The front of her leg scrape is from Mother's day.
hopefully you can see the damage in these photos.

Oh my that is all from going outside at daycare? some of them look like bug bites to me. i would use a lot of neosporin and find out what the heck they are letting these kids do outside!

OMG poor baby. Are those bug bites on her arms?
The scrape on the leg looks like its healing ok - the spary on neo should be fine for that.
If those are big bites they look pretty ittitated. Id ask her ped what you could put on them.

Mostly bug bites and she scratches them.. *sigh*
The front one was her just kneeling too hard believe it or not. I was there and it didn't even phase her. But those big bites are insane. You think I should ask them to keep her inside?

that is crazy the amount of bug bites! are they in a wooded area or something? i would either tell them not to or give them some off.

I would ask your ped. Maybe your ped could recommend something to put on her before going outdoors and a cream to put on at night so she doesnt scratch.

Those bug bites are horrible!! Poor girl!!
Can they put bug repellant on her before going outside?
Do they have standing water at the playground or somewhere the bugs are nesting?
ETA: You could try calamine lotion to ease the itchiness. I'm not sure the protocol on age restrictions but I would think it'd be harmless.

I would have them use some sort of bug repellent or not send her outside. Those bug bites are bad. and there are so many.
Id ask the ped what the best anti itch cream to use on her would be so they heal without her scrathing anymore.

Well its been humid so its probably mosquito bites. Its not a woody area or anything like that and I don't think its ants. This is Texas. I hate to say it but I NEVER let her go to daycare in shorts because of the insects.
Her scratching it just makes it so much worse. I am trying to keep up with her nails but she scratches so hard she draws blood. 
Daycare says she never cries.. they also say they've been seeing a rash on her.. which i haven't photoed yet.
She's already asleep so I can't take photos of those dry patches. She has super sensitive skin and I do have some off type stuff. Sensitive skin bug repellent. Just didnt know if its a good idea to put it on open wounds like these.
 the whole thing is frustrating!

poor baby....
The bug bites look like an allergic reaction to them. I am allergic to insect bites a tiny mosquito can bite me and it will welt up just as bad as your DD
Not much I can do about it. i've tried hydricortisone cream but the best thing is bug spray and not get bitten...

Aveeno makes an anti itch cream that is awesome and that's what doctors recommend for small children. As far as bug spray I suggest Avon Skin So Soft. Works great and there's no Deet in it.
Hope she heals quickly.

its not the same, but DS breaks out in hives from his outdoor allergies and itches them until they bleed....I dont know if it works for bug bites, but I put hydrocortisone ointment on them to help ease the itching so he doesnt make it worse and break them open.

Ok... thanks everyone... It means alot. I'm going to call up the peds and ask about all of those options.
Absolutely tho, she's NOT going outside tomorrow. I just can't have it! As a matter of fact I'm thinking the whole week is a no go just to let her heal.
They have a computer area for the kids.. I think she can go there. Otherwise she can sit up front in the entrance area where they have a train set.

those are some crazy bug bites! She might be SUPER allergic to whatever is biting her....
are you SURE they are from going outside and not from the cots/blankets???
Do any of the other kids have bites like that??
If she's wearing pants, how is she getting bitten?
Is she on grass outside, sand, wood chips, etc.....I'm thinking the daycare might have to call an exterminator or something....

All good questions.
she gets them on her legs because she pulls up her pants to scratch her legs (she has dry legs) and if she's bent over (crouched) on the ground her pant legs move up.
She's the only one I'm aware of with such trouble, tho you make a good point and I'll ask.
They have very nicely kept green grassy areas with recycled materials for flat areas of play. She's out there twice a day every day that's not rainy or cold so if it was the materials she'd have had a reaction well before now.

Is her daycare out of someone's house? Just want to rule out flea bites. I would out leggings on her. REAL LONG leggings so they don't ride up.

omg it looks like bug bites ~ I used to get the same thing when I was younger. They would get red (like a welt) I was allergic when I would get a mosquito bite It would welt and look like that.... that is terrible ~ ouchy ~ hope your LO feels better and hope it is not too itchy!

Are they chigger bites? When I got chigger bites I rried a paste made of baking soda. It worked really well.

I would be seriously ****** if I picked my kid up from day care looking like that. I know kids fall, and will be kids but hell that is crazy...I would use bactracin ointment.
