Anthony's Mickey Mouse 1st Birthday Party - Pics OVERLOAD and Vendor RAVES!
We had my son's 1st Birthday Party on Saturday at Teddy Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay. The weather turned out to be just PERFECT. The ENTIRE DAY was perfect!!! Here are MANY pics and quick reviews of the FANTASTIC vendors I used. All the guests loved every detail!!
Here’s the Birthday Boy!!
Birthday Prince Crown from Over the Rainbow in Syosset…
The shirt is from “LittleONEBoutique”, a GREAT website I found for personalized shirts (of all the details I remembered for the party, I forgot my little guy’s SOCKS! lol)
:
Mickey Mouse gumdrop display I made:
I used – and couldn’t be happier with – Small World Entertainment. They were THE most professional company I looked into – and had the best looking Mickey Mouse (there are some scary ones out there!) They also had The. Most. AMAZING. Mickey. Mouse. Clubhouse. Puppet. Show. EVER!!!! Period! It was immensely enjoyed by both the kids AND adults! It was DEFINITELY the highlight of the party and I would recommend that show to ANYONE! Crystal and Jeff were TERRIFIC, great with the kids and are a real asset to Small World Entertainment. Here are some pics with the Mouse!
Anthony meeting his hero:
My friend’s 3-year old son gave the best compliment by innocently saying “Mickey came ALL the way from Disney World for Anthony’s party!”
My parents with Mickey!
Peek-a-boo with Anthony’s party guest, Mickey!
In awe of the Mickey puppet show!
The dessert table:
Cake by Lady J’s Cake (Delicious AND Beautiful!):
Smash Cake by Lady J’s:
Anthony smashing the cake!
Mickey Cake Pops a friend of mine made…
“I Am One” banner, “Happy Birthday Anthony” banners, water bottle labels, napkin rings and favor tags by etsy vendor “cupcaketionary”:
I also used the etsy vendor “Keepsakes by Christy” for the Mickey photo progression banner at my son’s party, which everyone was SO impressed with and which truly exceeded my expectations.
Keepsakes by Christy also made the Mickey themed direction sign elements for me, which were SUPER cute!! I glued them on lawn signs from Party City:
Mickey Watermelon, which my dad cut for me! (also had Mickey Rice Krispie Treats, which I made):
The Birthday Boy’s Gifts!
Favors by Lady J’s:
For our beautiful invitations, I used the etsy vendor Keepsakes by Christy. She was simply THE BEST to work with!!!
Mickey Oreo Cookies I made and FORGOT to put out!!
I had a PHENOMENAL waitress and a GREAT BBQ guy who magically had our food cooked to perfection right on time! (FM me if you want their information). I could NOT have done it without them!!!

Looks like an awesome party! My kids did summer rec camp there (we live very close to the park) and all summer, there were groups having parties there. I'll have to get the information from you about having a party there....
