Has Anyone Flown Frontier out of ISP Yet?
We just flew them back from Orlando last week. No issues with the flight. The interior looked nice. Once we were sitting I looked around and notice the seats don’t really have cushioning. They weren’t uncomfortable for us though.
They didn’t have curbside checkin at Orlando so we had to wait in line to check bags. I?t was pretty long but moved quickly. If someone’s flight time was approaching they let them go ahead. I prepaid for a suitcase and paid extra to pick seats. My bag was a few pounds heavier than I?t should be and they let I?t slide without charging me extra.
In general all of the flight attendants were terrific. I would def fly them again. I paid 220 for 3 flights, a checked bag, 3 assigned seats and a den deals pass. I saved almost 700!

We took it last week to Orlando. The flight itself was fine, but I found that the passengers let their kids run amok on the plane (climbing over seats, yelling, playing devices on full volume, etc.). I have 3 kids and have flown with them so many times, and I would've killed my kids if they behaved like that. I wish the flight attendants would've asserted some control over them, but whatever.

I don't think that is a Frontier specific issue though. I've had that on Southwest and Delta also!

Re: Has Anyone Flown Frontier out of ISP Yet?
I didn't fly that airline but I did notice on my return trip out of Orlando airport about two weeks ago, that Frontier had a massive line just to check in/check bags. I was thankful at that point I was not flying Frontier, because the TSA lines in Orlando were also very long (45 min- 1 hour).

See travelling is such a humongous hassle to begin with that it's not worth saving a few dollars to be inconvenienced any more than i have to be. I would rather pay for a different airline. I don't travel enough to make the savings worth my while vs the hassle

Has Anyone Flown Frontier out of ISP Yet?
we are looking to go down to Orlando in july so I priced them out this morning just to compare. For 4 people the flight was $473 (awesome!) but then I had to add the checked bags and the pick your seat and that came out to an extra $566! the "bundle" was $70 per person per way. the southwest flight came out cheaper

Oh I definitely wouldn't be booking the bundle. I would pick cheapest seats on the plane, middle ones in the rear have come up free. Unless each person is checking a bag, you don't need that bundle. We rarely have one checked suitcase for each person.

I am flying with kids so want to pick our seats and want them together. We also always check one bag per person. Especially going to Orlando bc we bring home more than we go with lol. I don't think its any cheaper for us than southwest

You may want to considering limiting your luggage to carry-on bags. We flew Frontier recently and the line to check bags was enormous (probably about 200 people deep and well over 30+ minutes) and that doesn't include security (which was another 30+ minutes).

Well yeah, but the bundle probably includes the pricier seats. There are cheap seats in the back. Also, FYI there is a law that the airline cannot charge you to sit next to your kids if they are under 13. So if you choose to NOT select seats and pay for them, they HAVE to seat you next to your kids.
