Need help deciding
Planning a baptism party for October....
Choice A - Family style restaurant with a big room, lots of space to spread out for kids, food is decent, not wonderful, wine and beer package has craft beers, nice dessert options/add ons
Choice B - Fancy italian restaurant, much better food, would have the whole restaurant but space isn't huge compared to choice A, not great beer options
We have about 15 kids on the guest list and most of them are 5 and under. (Probably about 50-60 adults) Would you go with the worse food option to have a more kid friendly place? Also, the crowd is a big craft beer loving group and choice B has a very limited domestic beer selection.
Prices worked out to be about the same. Locations are similar. Parking is decent in both places.
Which option would you choose if you were throwing the party or attending the party?

Room for little kids is very important. If the food in A is good but not superior I wouldn't worry.

A , from personal experience the people with the kids under 5 don't get a chance to taste the food anyway.

B but I'm Italian. Food is always the most important thing. And kids will have a ball when they are together no matter what. They will leave through the tables and find a way to make it creative.

I agree with this. Even though I always go for the better food and don't have kids myself - Option A sounds like it would be easier and more comfortable for all of those children to have fun. As long as the food is good, A is the better option

I love food. But fancy and kids--don't belong in same sentence
If you were having a couple kids, I'd say B.
But being that you are having 15 kids under 5 years old, no way. You will all be tortured if you go to B, trust me.
Because of that, definitely A (1000%). At least the food is decent and craft beer (bonus!).
