Fun cooking class
Has anyone gone to a fun cooking class? Looking to get a gift certificate for my husband who loves to cook. Drinking wine while cooking or afterward would be a plus! Somewhere in Nassau or close to it, or in NYC would be great.

I've never been but I've heard good things about A La Carte in Lynbrook.

Fun cooking class
I just read about one this weekend, it was in Suffolk, where you cook a dinner and there is a 30 min salsa lesson after. I can't remember the name, I will try and find it.

DH and I have done a few couples classes at ICE in the city. We always have a blast!

Not in Nassau but we loved elegant eating in smithtown area.
We've also done a lot of classes at ICE on 23rd st in the city.

I was looking into ICE but saw a note that the alcohol is used only for cooking and drinking is not permitted LOL Had forgotten all about A La Carte in Lynbrook. Next month they have a BBQ and Bourbon class my husband will probably love. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

You can hold private events at Sur La Table and you prepare a whole meal to enjoy together. You can also bring any drinks or alcohol that you want.

We just took my mom to one at Sur La Table in Manhasset and it was a lot of fun.
