Is Turkey Hill Experience worth it?
With all of these trips I've taken to Lancaster, I have never done Turkey Hill because we are usually at the parks.
We have some time on this trip and I'm debating doing it but it looks like it has the potential to be lame, at least for the money.
Is it even a real factory? Should we do the taste lab? Should we skip?
TIA

The kids loved it. I would definitely do the taste lab and make your own ice cream. It is something fun to do a for a couple of hours.

We did it. Bring your own pint size lids because they don't give you lids. Also you will get a lot, and I mean a lot of ice cream there. So I would go in expecting that. I made a piña colada mango ice cream. It was fantastic. Yum.

Definitely do the taste lab. We didn't. Honestly, we didn't know about what there was to do there when we set to go. The taste lab was sold out for our day and we went anyway. It was Ok, but honestly, didn't seem all that worth it without the lab. with the camps it was freakin crazy

Re: Is Turkey Hill Experience worth it?
Thanks all. We ended up skipping it and doing a buggy ride instead (we had limited time.)
I might have been spoiled by the Ben and Jerry's Factory tour in Vermont. For $4 you get to tour a real factory and there's a huge sample at the end. Then there's a playground on the premises too. I have a thing for Vermont though.
