Rosary beads for First Communicant
So my DS is making his first H.C in a couple of weeks. I have not bought a rosary beads for him yet..I am just wondering if I need to? I know its tradition etc...and I bought one for my DD when she made hers but honestly I carried hers in my purse...she never looked at it...never used it and I honestly do not know where it is!!
So tradition aside does he need one? should I buy one for traditions sake so it can get lost in the rubble with DD's one?

Don't bother. I bought a cheap pair for my DD's Communion last year, she wasn't allowed to have them with her and we didn't take professional pics so basically they've been sitting in a drawer since I bought them.

My parents gave DS a special rosary. He loves it- but is a big "pray-er"
So, I think if they are meaningful for the child, it's a lovely gift. He also held them in his pics.
